this baby showed up outside our house on july 2nd and i happend to go out on the back porch to pet zelda who was sitting out there and i heard some meowing and then i saw the baby!!
it took about a week of setting food out and hanging out with her for my mom to grab her put her on the porch
she is now comfortable with being handeled and enjoys rubbing against people, but she needs to work on suckling fingers, playing with my earrings and earlobes, and licking parts of the face that shouldn't be licked (like the inner nostril).
her vet appt is 7/22 and we will see if she has parasites or whatever. once she is given the all clear we are letting her inside the house.

zelda moved to follow my mom into the house on april 1st, 2019. she followed my mom up the stairs to the back deck, then into the back porch.
she doesnt't really meow otherwise. she does meow and hiss and growl at the new boys bc she requires her space and they were never socialized as kittens and they never learn to stay away from her.
she eats by herself bc the boys are mean to her while she eats. she also needs special food bc he had bladder stones.
she has major toritude and with scream and scream when you go to pick her up and love with her but then when you put her down she looks at you like "why'd you stop?"

he is full of engery. he inspects and tries your food, but he really likes creamy stuff (coffee, whipped cream, etc). he ate a piece of tomato the other day. and also several cut up pieces of olives from my taco dip.
zippy and his brother seven were adopted as kittens by this girl, and she spent most of her time at her boyfriend's house for like 2 years, and was rarely there with the cats. they were kept in a room and the girls parents occasionally would peek in and feed them.
they were fed crappy catfood and zippy came to us with earmites and an infection in his anal glands. neither of them know how to be held and generally don't know how to be cats. not socialized.
he is really sweet when he goes into eepy mode. he loves to lay on my chair and my bed, and his face gets eepy and then he is really cuddly (he normally hates being cuddles/hugged).

he is getting fatter. big chungus. he is easily startled. he has a dingus little face. he is the meanest to zelda.
whenever he sees food he eats it all right away because in his past life food wasn't guarenteed. we're trying to only have the food availble for the boys in the morning and at dinnertime and keep it away otherwise.
seven and his brother's adoption stated in the section about zippy. but this boy is kind of shy. he is also so chunky he can't clean his ass.

bown bown is my baby boy. he is real liddle and loves to give cuddles and kisses (licks your face). he comes when you call for him and asks to be held at nighttime.
also he was from a cattery and kept in a cage in a small trailer with a bunch of other tonkineses. i think he came from oshkosh.
he lays on the heating pad on my bed, but he also likes to be held when i am getting into sleepytime. he gets along with everybody, but isn't a big fan of when my kid cousins come over.
he does flippies where he will stretch and flip back and forth on the ground when he wants cuddles. he has a very distinctive meow and will meow often to make his prescence known.
he loves babytalk. he starts purring when i talk to him. if im somewhere nearby and im looking at my handsome boy and i start telling him how handsome he is, then he will do a small meow and come over by me for cuddles.

he was named after giorgio tsoukalos from ancient aliens bc my mom likes him. but he also went by george. he got to be pretty chunky but def liked his cuddles.
he was allergic to chicken, we think. he got rashes from the dry food, so we got different food and also fed him wet food with fish.
he developed some problem that made him have frequent liquid shits and it wasn't his fault at all, and it was untreatable. i think the conditon is related to feline covid? i can't remember.
i can't remember where he came from, but we got him through the purebread cat rescue, the same as brown and penelope.

penelope loved everyone. she purred a lot and loved cuddles and laying in your armpit (it is warm there).
she was a skinny legened. in her previous life, she had a nose infection or something that never got treated and it broke her nose? something happened so she sneezed a LOT.
she liked to go outside on the deck (no leash) and hang out with whoever was on the deck. we kind of trained her to stay on the deck and not go off.

big boy. gentle giant. he developed arthritis or something in his later years. his name at HAWS was ribeye for some reason. i named him 'tudor' when i was very little (apparently).
he didn't like sitting on you, but he liked sitting next to you, or laying by your feet in bed. in his later years his tongue stuck out of his mouth sometimes.
very kissable forehead. didn't like going out on the porch at all. he was found as a stray just outside i think. he was a very sweet boy and was well loved.

very playfull boy. sat with my brother when he was little while he was watching boomerang and thus the cat was named.
i remember i named him 'the company cat' because he would come in the bathroom with me. there's a picture of him in the christmas tree that's really good but i need to look for more actual photos we have of him.
one time he got through the screen on the porch, caught a chipmunk, came back inside and released it. it was running aroound our ground floor for a while. i can't remember what happened to it. i assume boomer ate it.
